On a mission to murder all within his path, the twin power
axe wielding Mortifactors Assault Sergeant is a man equipped to achieve his aim
with savage, brutal efficiency.
Alongside the Mortifactors Librarian, he leads his squad of Assault
Marines in bringing the wrath of Posul to wherever it is most needed on the
battlefield…

| Hop, skip, chop... |
To ensure maximum swing and reach for those mighty power
axes, this guy eschews pauldrons in favour of bare arms and as such, has been
converted using arms from the Catachan Jungle Fighters sprue. His chest plate is
lifted from the Chaos Vehicle sprue with the addition of a wreath and chain
link tabard. I decided to retain the head’s top knot to further emphasise this
chap’s brutal, tribal roots.
In my last Mortifactors post I had promised to wheel out the
Chapter Champion and Company Chaplain, but they’ve gone back to the workbench for
a re-think…
Instead we can look forward to revealing this guy's favourite
bunch of drinking buddies – The Mortifactors Assault Squad!
